Buyers from around the globe converged on Cosmoprof Asia.

Cosmoprof Asia, which organizers call “the largest and most definitive beauty trade event in the Asia Pacific region” has announced that this year’s event, held November 14-16 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, achieved record attendance numbers. Now in its 17th year, the event drew 55,386 visitors (up 14% from 2011) over the three show days with many buyers from countries such as Australia, China, Japan, Korea, Russia and the U.S.

Additional stats also showed growth, with 1,964 exhibitors (an increase of 10% compared to 2011) from 44 countries and regions, in an exhibition area 9% larger than last year’s show floor. More than 530 were first-time exhibitors. In the ever-increasing country pavilions, more than 23 nationalities were represented; new this year were Canada and Brazil.
For the 6th consecutive year, Cosmoprof Asia organized the International Buyer Program to facilitate direct contact between exhibitors and international buyers.

The 18th edition of the event will be held November 13-15, 2013 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre.
